Mash Motors Inc. is world-renowned for our Duramax Diesel conversions for the Hummer H1, H2 and large SUVs.  We are happy to announce that we have added Chevrolet/GMC Square Body’s and GM 2nd generation trucks to our lineup.

1969- 1991 Chevrolet and GMC Square Body Trucks

Starting at $40,500.00

  • A complete replacement of your vehicle’s factory power train to the 6.6 Liter LBZ/LMM Duramax Turbo Diesel Engine (standard engine option)
  • Upgrade to LML Diesel Drivetrain (Add $3,500.00)
  • Upgrade to L5P Diesel Drivetrain (ADD $13,500.00)
  • Allison M1000 heavy-duty 6-speed automatic transmission
  • NP205 Custom Built Transfer Case single lever shift (twin Shift Upgrade ($850.00)
  • Turbo intercooler
  • Radiator
  • Oversized fan and fan clutch
  • Oversized transmission and engine oil cooler
  • New rear drive shaft
  • New front drive shaft
  • New motor mounts
  • Custom high-flow, 4-inch exhaust
  • Custom high-flow cold air intake system

  • New fuel lines – bio diesel ready

  • A  4 to 6 inch suspension lift is required to clearance the Duramax Drivetrain (This is an additional cost if your vehicle has stock suspension)

  • Drivetrains used in conversion will be used pullouts with approx. 45k-125k miles.

Horsepower and MPG Expectations

The base conversion package starts out with 400 horsepower. Performance upgrades and modifications can increase the horsepower to 750. The biggest gain from the conversion is the outstanding fuel mileage and realibility of a late model drivetrain.

Build Time

Each conversion is completed to the customer’s specific requests and therefore, build time is approximately 90 days.  This ensures that each conversion is completed properly, and the vehicle has been thoroughly inspected and road tested prior to delivery.

Diesel Drive Train Core Charge

Mash Motors Inc will retain the old drive train and components that are removed from your vehicle during the conversion process. The stock motor and transmission will be used as a core charge for the diesel engine and Allison transmission. If you want to retain the stock motor and transmission, there will be a core charge of $2,500.00 added to the conversion cost.
