Duramax Diesel Engine Conversions for the Chevrolet and GMC Square body Trucks

Mash Motors Inc. is world-renowned for our Duramax Diesel conversions for the Hummer H1, H2 and large SUVs including the Chevy Suburban, Yukon and Avalanche. We are also the first company to successfully convert the Hummer H3 with the Vortec 6.0 liter engine and 4L60HD transmission by GM. 1969- 1991 Chevrolet and GMC Square Body Trucks

Starting at $34,500.00

  • A complete replacement of your vehicle’s factory power train to the 6.6 Liter LBZ/LMM Duramax Turbo Diesel Engine (standard engine option)
  • Truck must have a minimum of a 4-inch suspension lift kit
  • Truck currently must have automatic transmission if not there will be an upcharge to convert to auto transmission.

Horsepower and MPG Expectations

The base conversion package starts out with 400 horsepower. Performance upgrades and modifications can increase the horsepower to 750. The biggest gain from the conversion is the outstanding fuel mileage from 9 to 12 MPG in a stock Hummer to 18 to 26 MPG and is capable of running on biodiesel.

Build Time

Each conversion is completed to the customer’s specific requests and therefore, build time is approximately 60 days for the H1, 35 days for the H2 and SUVs. This ensures that each conversion is completed properly and the vehicle has been thoroughly inspected and road tested prior to delivery.

Diesel Drive Train Core Charge

Mash Motors Inc will retain the old drive train and components that are removed from your vehicle during the conversion process. The stock motor and transmission will be used as a core charge for the diesel engine and Allison transmission. If you want to retain the stock motor and transmission there will be a core charge of $2,500.00 added to the conversion cost.
